All Dean's problems would be solved if only he had a mullet.

Nothing says "I want your vote" to a NASCAR dad with a yard full of white-painted tires like a carefully tended, gleaming Mullet!

In addition, every day that sees the sun set on a mullet-less Dean Head only reinforces the notion that Kerry is the only candidate with hair worth commenting on.

There may not be time for actual growth of the back length needed for a respectable mullet, but this only offers another opportunity for inter-candidate cooperation. Al Sharpton will be able to hook Dean up with a reputable and skilled applier of extensions.

Currently I've got longish hair (for a male)-- about 6" past my shoulders. I've often thought about getting a mullet just for the irony.

The only problem is nobody would get the irony.

4. Why should Kerry get all the hair attention?

The fact is, Dean's hair is entirely unremarkable.

A mullet would help make him more visible to people who aren't sure which one he is, and would establish an aesthetic solidarity link with the working class.

I have also recommended that Kerry shave his head.

If both candidates will take these simple steps, it will give new life and verve to a lackluster campaign.
