Need help viewing videos

I have a slow dial up connection and can rarely see videos or even audio from websites and I sure as heck can't stream live stuff, but if someone sends me silly e-mails (that open up in a windows media player) with funny commercials or stuff like that I can see them fine (although it may take a long time to come in) My question could somebody send me a copy of something? Would that work? I have no idea how to "capture" video off the computer.

Just curious as I would like to see the clip of Will Pitt's interview with Cindy Shehann, (among other things!) She has caught my heart and Will has been great about keeping his blog up to date so we can follow what is happening down there.

First is this possible and second anybody willing to do it? (PM me and I will send my e-mail address)

2. go to the web site with the video you want to see and do this...

1. right click the link
2. choose save as
3. save the video someplace on your computer
4. double click the file after it has completely downloaded

3. I tried this

At the truthout site I right clicked the link that was for windows media 56k and it said "save TARGET as" (caps mine) and it seems to be just the link becauseit is doing that whole buffering thing that never seems to work for me.

I must be doing something wrong, but what?

9. They go to a temporary folder on your hard drive

They're deleted periodically.
