Best Bond Girl?
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 09:48 AM by MN ChimpH8R
(No offense, Women of DU, that's the term of art)

Wot with all the Bond talk floating around the last few days, I am wondering which of the many lovely women who have joined 007 in his world-saving heroics is your favorite?

Mine:

Michelle Yeoh

Jill St. John

4. This one:

Carole Bouquet from For Your Eyes Only.

She had an elegance and class that could not be squelched by the role. She has since gone on to serious acclaim as an actress in her native France.

24. I adore Michelle Yoeh and loved her as a bond girl
because she kicked serious ass and didn't take shit from Bond.

Worst Bond girl - what the fuck, Denise Richards prior 4 movies she plays a high school girl (Wild Things, Starship Trooper to name 2) then suddenly she's a Ph D rocket scientist who dresses like she's going to a NJ prom circa 1978.

I'm a gal and I can appriate the bond girl because she's smart, she's sassy, she's worldy and men desire her. But Denise Richard came off as a dumb twit.

36. Denise Richards
Regardless of how gorgeous she is (plenty), she was sadly miscast in that movie. She was completely unbelievable as a Ph.D.

Michelle Yeoh was so great because she was every bit Bond's equal and saved his ass a few times. Beauty, brains, and great martial arts moves. More you need?

And how on earth could I have forgotten Diana Rigg?? :dunce:

37. I'm looking forward to seeing Michelle in "Memoirs of a Geisha"
She has the role of Mameha who is the mentor to main character Nitta Sayuri (Who is played by that girl in all those martial arts movies Zhuyi Zhang). The nemesis Hatsumomo is played by Li Gong.

Great casting even though none of those women are Japanese (Michelle is Malayasian and the other 2 are Chinese)

Teri Hatcher and Michelle Yeoh are incredible. Here are some others I found very attractive:

Izabella Scorupco

Talisa Soto

Worst Bond girl ever? I'm voting for Denise Richards. Way too much silicone, and may have been the worst acting job of all the Bond girls (which, in some cases, didn't require a hell of a lot of it).

Edited to remove previously mentioned actresses

Yeoh is energetic, dynamic, charismatic, as beautiful as girls get, and a good actress.

Carrera has such amazingly exotic looks, as she had in Never Say Never Again.

I also have to include Sophie Marceau, who is perhaps the most beautiful woman in the world.
