All of them except the 2nd remind me of a Western Actress.

5. I have a dear friend and former co-worker

who is a beautiful Indian woman and she even did local TV (DC Northern Virginia channel 50) when she was younger. I guessed she was pregnant before she wanted to reveal it but, I knew something was up.

When she was pregnant with her daughter she posted pictures of beautiful Indian actresses - it seems they believe what one is exposed to, they will become.

When her beautiful little girl was born, she looked nothing like these pictues, but accordning to Seema, she thinks her daughter looks like me!

Actually I don't think so, because she looked so beautiful like her big brother (a couple of years older). If you've ever seen Indian children, they have the most adorable long eyelashes.

that the folks down at the local Indian mercantile are a wonderful deep chocolate brown. They think my wife, who is very fair skinned, is beautiful. She's been asked how long it takes to apply her mole/beauty mark. :rofl:

I had a freeper argue that 'fair women have always been the height of beauty, look at ancient art'.

It's kind of ridiculous, considering how brown India is--being brown is seen as not so great. There's an entire industry of skin creams to make one's skin 'fair and lovely'.
I don't know, the subject irritates me.
But browner actresses are starting to make it bigger there, like Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu (who are both slightly browner than these pics, the makeup folks make them lighter):

Kajol is my favorite, Rani's a close second (but I'm seeing too much of her right now. I think she and Preity have been in the last, like, ten films I've watched!), but something about Sushmita I find really beautiful.

Juhi does have the greatest smile ever, though. Some mag called her the Sunshine girl, and they're right. She's so great.

It's slightly irritating that Ash gets all the attention--I can't think of one Indian actress that isn't beautiful. Even the Kapoor sisters (who I can't stand) have a look to them.
