What the hell is Cool Whip?
It seems to be featuring very heavily in this evening's threads.

I'm guessing that it's some American product which has not crossed the Atlantic - but I'd like to know whether it's good or bad that I've missed this product for my entire life (I suspect the latter).

7. it's definitely not diary..
My mom is deathly allergic to dairy products and she can eat that stuff with impunity...it is definitely not created with any kind of natural milky substance. If it was, she'd end up having massive seizures on the floor...
