7. Chicken wings from Snappers in Key Largo.
Best wings around because they marinate them in lime juice and then they are breaded and deep fried and served with a Jamaican hot and sweet sauce. Not great for my diet but Friday is my splurge day.

Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 09:59 PM by prolesunited
I've already had two "episodes" from food that we've eaten recently at festivals. I think I've ruined my stomach with healthy, nutritious food.

28. Thank you for your concern, prolesunited!
:hi: I just have a headache from working outside in the heat all day.

I know beer and aspirin are not the best dinner in the world, but I ate a salad at about 12:30 this afternoon, and I am not that hungry right now - the heat really kills my appetite.

34. It was good, thank you swag...
I just plop the meat in a roasting pan, preheat the oven to 350 F, and cook for about one hour...

It isn't a big roast...about 3 pounds, I guess...and the edges get more done for my husband, and I like the rarer parts further in...

It needs to be sliced thinly as much as possible...it can be tough..

And then for tonight, I just sliced it up and heated it very briefly in the microwave... covered with a piece of waxed paper...90 seconds on power level 5...Delish!

:toast:

39. Lake food here in MN.
A small, med/rare grilled tenderloin of beef.
A nice salad with homemade creamy peppercorn dressing.
One Early Girl tomato....picked off the vine and still warm. I put nothing on it. No salt, no balsamic....nada. And it was perfect.
