Praise the Lord, they're gone!!
Company finally left this morning (stayed a day longer than I expected). Nice people, but seem bitter about life. Nice kids, but a bit spoiled and demanding. Was ready to bash their heads together this morning.

Now I can get back to normal!!

1. They left before the head bashing began!
Always a good sign!

2. It's nice
to have your privacy back again, isn't it? Company is great, but you just can't do what you want--when you want to do it.

3. It is always SUCH a good feeling to have your house back to...
yourself again. I've never been able to understand people who really like to entertain and have people visit. It's such work, and it takes such energy. As a low energy person, I just don't have what it takes to do it very often.

Do something special for yourself as a reward for your efforts!

4. I know what you mean...
When I've had company in the past, I'm always ready for them to go before they actually did. People get into a routine with their daily lives and people staying with you interrupts that routine.
:hi:

5. I had a really busy day the other day, and no budget for a helper.
But my occasional helper showed up anyway, and worked all day for free. Why? Because her in-laws are visiting, and she needed an excuse to get out.

6. I think it's attributed to Ben Franklin:
Company and fish both begin to stink after three days.

multiple guests-3 days is the limit. You still like each other when they leave. For the most part, anyway.

On Edit-just read comment #6-hahaha!
