Recommend a dial-up ISP that doesn't kill you with ads & crap? |
|
My SO's parents would like access to the internet and email, but don't want to do broadband or dsl.
Is there a dial-up ISP that doesn't load up their computer with stupid offers and pop-ups?
I understand netzero and earthlink are notorious for doing that?
Thanks for any advice or experience. :hi:

1. I had earthlink three years ago and they weren't bad then |
|
I've also had MSN and SBC in the the not so distant past and I don't recall having any trouble with them. Of those three I liked Earthlink the best.

Although Alltel is a huge corporation if they have access to them locally there are no ads. *All* you get is dialup software and some browswers, dial in to local number, connect and use whatever programs you want.

4. Never had any problems with earthlink. No ads either. |
|
I've been on broadband for 3 years now, so I've had no experience with Earthlink since then, but I'm pretty sure they're still a good company.

Good to know that Earthlink doesn't load you up with ads and offers!
I'll check them out and look into Alltel too.
