I have a ghost. A thief ghost.
Two Zippo lighters and my glasses have disappeared since yesterday evening.

4. If you have a cat start looking under the bed
I was missing my remote control and somehow it magically got way underneath my bed. I tried beating a confession out of my cat but they just sat there and acted like nothing was wrong (ok, btw, I would never beat my cat!)

14. Did you try the bright light routine?
That wouldn't work either. Most cats are smart enough to wear shades or close their eyes.

5. I had one like that
It (he/she????) would TAKE stuff (unimportant things, brushes, combs, BO juice, e.g.) over the course of weeks, and then dump it in the sink--it would just appear, after I had replaced the missing items. Oh, I lived alone at the time, not counting dogs and cats and bird.

I never was a 'believer' but between the footsteps on the carpeted stairs that sounded like they were on hardwood every night around ten PM and that, I changed my mind.

13. The one that shared my space would put things back
where they belonged AFTER I'd convinced myself that whatever was missing must not have been where I thought it was.
