If anyone has problems reducing their sig picture to the new
500 x 200 x 20K requirements, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Maddy's frog is alive and grinning after the trimming surgery, so I may be able to help others as well.

Just be patient and give me a few days.

4. Here you go. Just download the picture to your computer,
then upload it to photobucket or wherever you have it hosted.

A little smaller than the original, but still recognizable.

2. What will happen to OldLeftyLawyer's drinking cat?
That's been my favorite for some time. I hope it survives.

just as stoned as ever. the animation runs a little faster than the original, but I think it actually works better than the original. There were too many frames in that animation!

I trust you know how to copy the image and paste it into whatever source you used for theoriginal.

10. That is very kind of you...
And I'd like to offer you help if you get swamped and overwhelmed with requests!
I work with Photoshop every day and am also familiar with Image Ready...I know how to make animated gifs and my computer at work is super fast ...

Just an offering of help!

12. Well, dang, that's a nice offer, TK; I don't think we've talked,
so howdy.

Haven't been deluged with requests yet, but if the need for image optimization builds into a flood, it'd be good if there were two of us to handle it.

Probably the best thing for us to say to the DU crowd is to pick one or the other of us and send a request via PM, so we don't have to rely on this thread staying kicked, or otherwise crossing wires or duplicating efforts.

Maybe tomorrow night you can start a new thread telling people what we're offering to do for them.

PS: I do like ImageReady; although I use Fireworks for a lot of web-intended image processing, there's nothing that works quite as well for animated GIFs as does ImageReady. It seems that Adobe has kind of orphaned it, but it's a nice application.

13. I will help as well, if needed
I have been known to warp an animation or two in my day. Just let me know if you need to lay some stuff off.
I have some slow time coming up, so it is no prob.

14. OK, so now there are three of us.
Anyone wants to get optimized, you now have a wider cholce of sources of assistance.

Thanks for the offer, WJMS. Once people start to panic because their siggies are getting whacked, I suspect they'll appreciate your willingness to help.
