People plastered Rio with pamphlets saying: "HAND OVER YOUR WEAPON - BECOME A SLAVE!" This, in response to a (VOLUNTARY!) government disarming campaing in which the govt bought out people's weapons, no questions asked. Many poor people were relieved to get rid of a dangerous object that was doing no good, avoid criminal charges for unregistered firearms, and get some cash to boot.

I wonder - what about households that NEVER had a gun for generations? Were we always slaves???

I know, maybe the NRA can beat this level of idiocy, but admit -- they'll have to sweat.
