How much should it cost to paint the interior of a 1400 sq ft house? |
|
Assuming the doors and trim are painted different colors. Ballpark.
I'm clueless.

1. Here, a friend of mine paints interiors. |
|
She did a bedroom, including all the prep work, trim, and the hallway for $500.
I think she is a little high, but her work is outstanding. No mess at all.

The main rooms of the house were done one shade, and the four bedrooms were each a different shade, the trim was all white/oil based and the ceilings were also painted (and four bathrooms). It was a VERY thorough paint job with two full-time painters and one full-time assistant for almost two weeks, and on the clean-up, they had about four people for an entire day.
Oh, and on edit... that also included all the paint and materials.

And it really depends on what kind of paint you get - I recommend the paint in the $15-20/gallon range.
We used about 1 gallon per normal sized room (10x10, 12x12) and two for the larger rooms (15x15-15x20)
