I'm having someone else's dreams!
and I don't know who. This has been going on for a week.

I dreamed I forgot my coat with $50 in the pocket on the subway. I've never been on a subway, we don't have them here, it's August, and I never put money in my pockets.

Will whoever belongs to this dream please claim it?

1. Anywhere near Aurora Borealis?
They say it mixes up people's dreams...

3. My daughter and I had each others dreams for a short time.
I am not near the Aurora Borealis, though.

It was odd. The dreams were so vivid, I called her to tell her about them. She told me hers. I told her to stop mixing up our dreams, like a typical mom.

5. I have been experiencing the same odd phenomena
I dreamt the other night about a romantic encounter with a man named Stan (I don't know anyone named Stan, but in the dream I knew him quite well). Then attended a function arranged by my sister (I don't have a sister) and my two best friends (two women I've never seen before). Everyone was wearing clothing indicative of the 1940's and the furnishings seemed to indicate that as well. I thought after I woke that I must have tapped into the dream life of some elderly woman remembering her first love.

6. That is so cool

9. Do you live next to any elderly people?
The theory behind the aurora borealis explanation is that it causes radio frequency signal mix ups. Dreams, like all thoughts, are electrical frequencies in our head, and that in essence the brain is a radio transmitter of sorts...broadcasting from synapse to synapse as a station broadcasts to recceivers.

So whats happening (according to this theory) is that you and your next door neighbor are mixing up signals.

This, however, does little to explain the mother-daughter dream mix ups as reported by others.

11. Very probably, yes.
I live in an apartment complex surrounded by other apartment complexes. And I know that there is an Alzheimer's community up the block.

8. That's my dream
Only I don't lose the coat. So you can send me the fifty bucks and we'll just forget all about this incident. O8)
