I personally don't eat at McDonald's and as you may have guessed by the survey, I'm vegetarian, so the variety of their food for me is not great.

I am a partner in several restaurants and have financed several more; it's not the idea, it's all in the presentation.

Timing of the idea isimportant as well, and as little as two years ago, I would have agreed with Redstone.

is marketing a new idea or service. I selected the idea of a Vegetarian Fast-Food Chain as my topic and now I have to do write ups for different sections including 1) background information about the current market and why people would be interested, 2) consumer interviews (that's where this survey comes in), 3) description of the product and services that would be offered, and 4) selecting a target market of consumers. Then I have to have a globilization strategy and an internet presence strategy.

So it's mostly a write-up and then I'll have a supporting Power Point presentation.

42. Taken, some observations below.

The concept of variety is a little ambiguous. I said I was Dissatisfied with the variety of menus for all restaurants you list. However, taken as a group, they do provide variety. McD has Egg McMuffins and Fish Sandwiches. BK and Wendy's have acceptable hamburgers. Since each restaurant has one or two items I like, I find having 5 or 6 fast food restaurants nearby provides a "healthy" amount of variety.

My second comment has nothing to do with the results. I noticed that the splash page has several fields. Even when you are in a hurry and need to cut corners it is always good to make sure that the first thing a customer or user sees is "good." Not only does it look professional, but by not customizing something like this you make me think that if you didn't care, why should I bother to go further? (Think about it for the future.)

Interesting concept for a restaurant. Just make sure that there is at least one non-vinegar, non-mustard, non-mayonnaise dressing choice and I will be a semi-regular patron.

... such as "I never eat there." There's a big difference between being unsatisfied with the menu selections and thinking that most of the food's crap. :)

I'm not a vegetarian, but I definitely would try a vegetarian fast-food restaurant. I'm pretty open-minded about food and cuisine in general, and if the food is good, I would have a meal there regularly, irregardless if there is meat or no meat in the food. And hey, who knows, this might end up converting a few of us! :)
