Anyone read "Opus"? Have any old Bloom County characters appeared? |
|
My newspaper doesn't carry it. I used to look at a web site that would scan and post them, but the author put a halt to that.

1. it's a huge disappointment |
|
breathed is playing way too safe. and he keeps doing strips about people talking 'pc' that are neither insightful or funny. i was thrilled that he was going back to cartooning, but i quitreading them after a few months.
the writing is weak, but i will say his art has never looked better.
and to answer your question, so far opus, bill, and steve dallas have appeared that I know of. still no binkley, milo, or oliver

I loved Bloom County, I think it was the funniest comic strip I've ever read. Outland was just tired and rehashed old jokes. I haven't read Opus yet.

3. "Opus" is only published on Sundays, I think. |
|
The Washington Post has it on its website: http://www.uclick.com/client/wpc/wpopu/

6. Check the Washington Post Comics page |
|
Registration is required, but it's not intrusive. It links to a number of strips including Opus http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artsandliving/comics/index.html
