1. See, now this is what bugs me about football

I like football, I really do. I'm a 49er fan and a Texas Longhorn fan. But what gets on my nerves is how domineering of a presence football makes over the other professional sports that are out there. I am an even bigger baseball fan, and in a couple of weeks baseball stories will gradually fade from the headlines as football eats up ever more of the sports coverage. It's annoying. I just wish football could start in early November and go through Fedruary, with the Super Bowl being held in early March.

Sorry bud, although I am a proud native of SD, I grew up a Dodger fan - I was born before the Padres joined MLB. If SD does win, I will pull for them in the playoffs, but I think now that Milton Bradley is back, and if Jeff Kent stays healthy, the Dodgers will squeak by the Pads by October 1.

Barely above .500 I might add. Sheesh, what a horrible season.
