My Aunt's Delicious Blueberry Cobbler Recipe
My Aunt Dorothy who recently passed away from Alzheimer's made the best blueberry cobbler. It was so exalted, in fact, that my uncle included the recipe in her memorial invitations. For you culinary enthusiasts / sweet tooths out there, here it is:

1/2 cup sugar 1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
4 cups blueberries 1/2 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice 3 tablesoons shortening
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup milk

1. Mix sugar and cornstarch in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in blueberries and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole; keep blueberry mixture hot in oven.

2. Mix flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender or crisscrossing 2 knives until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Stir in milk. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto blueberry mixture.

3. Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm.

1. Thank you for sharing that with us.
I'm sorry that you recently lost your aunt. It's nice to remember someone by the means they brought joy to others. I'll try the recipe.

Peace :hi:

3. She'll live on in a number of ways
she left quite a positive impression on the world that'll resonate through those who knew her.

of course, as her cobbler goes, she had an inherent advantage in having access to fresh, organic blueberries from her own homegrown patch, but I'm sure it'll still be good.
