1. mindless comedy... My favorite genre
Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorites. Totally mindless and hysterical, full of 5th grade humor. Jim and Jeff are/were just a joy to watch.

in the back of the knee, that is my favorite laugh.

5. 'So I've GOT A CHANCE!' my favorite line/scene. When the Lauren
Holly character tells him, "it's more like, a million to one".

Just the guy's expression and voice inflection.

7. I'm in the same boat
Some dumb comedies are just classics. Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Waynes World. For every Lynch or P.T. Anderson film, I need some mindless comedy to balance me out.

The scene with the Klaus Barbie museum, where John Lovitz steals Hitler's car, was hilarious.

20. I am also a major film snob but can enjoy mindless comedy
but I hate Dumb and Dumber and most everything Jim Carrey has been in. I also feel that way about Jack Black and The Chapelle Show and Family Guy and American Dad.

Now that that is off my chest I'm going to watch the brilliant Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Radio? Who needs a radio?

One-half teaspoon for fast, effective relief.

If I know Mary like I think I do, she'll invite us right up for tea and strumpets.

Nice hooters.

Hey! It's them! The guys who whacked Mental!

Freda told me the whole sordid story, Mr. French Tickler!

I want to make love to a schoolboy!

Sssh! Just...go.

A place where beautiful women intstinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Where beer flows like wine. I'm talking about a little place called...Asssssssspen!
