OK... I admit it... the SEC sucks. |
|
The Securities and Exchange Commission, that is. If they enforced their regulations with any kind of proficiency then W would have spent some time in the tank for insider trading and never would have even gotten nominated for Repuke candidate.
Did you think I was talking about the Southeastern Conference? SUCKER! The Southeastern Conference whips everyone's asses.
The PAC-10 has no idea how to play defense. And Auburn would have taken USC last year, and LSU would have taken them the year before.
The Big 10 has no idea how to play offense. Except Purdue and Iowa. And the SEC owns them anyway (45-23-1 over the past 25 years). And can't y'all count? 11 teams in the Big 10?
The Big 12 folds in bowl games. Or has Oklahoma not been bent over the past couple of title games?
The ACC - or Almost Competitive Conference as we like to call it - has been the SEC's plaything for years, and will continue to be.
There are no other real conferences. WAC, Mountain West, Big (L)East, C-USA... posers, all.

is that the tide rolls out just as often as it rolls in. What kind of team models itself after a phenomenon that only bats 0.500? Pretty low aspirations, if you ask me...

if you think Auburn would have beaten USC. Beating VA Tech by a field goal really isn't that impressive.
BTW...Go Penn State. :D

First of all, SC only beat Va Tech by 11. Tech was competitive with both teams until the 4th quarter, and Auburn didn't need the very questionable calls that Southern Cal got in the 4th quarter, either.
Plus, if you want to focus on just one game as an indicator, Southern Cal having to come back from 21 points down to scrape by a 4-7 Stanford team isn't too impressive. Neither is barely scraping by a 6-6 UCLA team. USC had ONE dominant game last year against a good team, but they were behind against Stanford, UCLA, and got statistically whipped by the same Cal team that was pounded by Texas Tech.
