DU Lounger Sundog has been slammed by an animal rights group for reportedly dumping his pampered dead squid Squiddy because he grew too big.

Squiddy is said to have grown past his ideal weight of 90 pounds, prompting Sundog to allegedly leave the dead squid with his best friend JimmyJazz while he cares for a smaller dead squid named Bambi.

But his alleged actions have angered DUers, whose spokesperson LynneSin said, "It's a pity that SUndog's heart doesn't match his pocketbook. Squids shouldn't be disposed of like last season's trendy handbag. They should instead be cooked up and served as a nice crispy fried calamari"
