I must have felt the press of the bodies of 50 lovely latina women today (my job is rather unusual, to say the least) but here I am, again, as always....alone, again, naturally. I mean, like, really naturally, but that's another story (it's extremely hot here and hasn't cooled down yet). And don't get that stupid song stuck in your head, 'cos that and Ian Janis' (or Janis Ian's...whoever's) "Seventeen" are guaranteed to make you seek a high point from which to jump.

One of the greatest lost loves of my life, mostly unrequited when it really counted, remains one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen -- a stunning Tejana from an old Texas family with origins south of the border (actually, origins right there in south-central Texas, when Texas was south of the border). Maybe that's one reason why I seem to have my eye so easily caught by women with similar complexion (not that I'm particularly stuck on any one ethnicity, hair color, build, or 'look') and am so willing to accept Salma (she doesn't yet know how much she needs me) as a worthy substitute. :-)
