2. They seem to love critter flicks or disaster movies |

I don't see much imagination on display on that channel, and I am big fan of science fiction, especially in the written form.

My wife and I always place bets on when the half naked babe with an AK47 will appear.

only Battlestar Gallactica is halfway decent. I still cringe at some of the Stargate (SG1 and Atlantis) plots.
The 1984 version of Dune starts in 15min (10pm-2am CT), which is not bad, it is just weird because it was made in the mid-1980's.

In answer to your question, because it's the Sci Fi Channel. Seriously the best thing they air is the Twilight Zone marathon once or twice a year, and they still manage to f*** that up, by showing the shittiest episodes they can find.

7. Oh the worst was the one where they were drilling through |
|
the earth in these large machines, and Terri Farrell and Craig Sheffer are geologists and Wil Wheaton are in it. Terrible dialogue. Awful plot. Others I have seen are equally bad.

9. Because they all involve a team of attractive young people fighting |
|
something or other in a series of rooms and hallways that's supposed to be a space ship or some sort of high tech building.
Sometimes the team of attractive young people go outside.
Members of the team of attractive young people get killed off one by one until just a couple of them are left to win over whatever they were fighting.
The End
