I am assuming you took the photos........wife has a butterfly bush, it is just starting to attract attention. We had a "Bumblebee Moth" today. Nice shots, I am also assuming you are shooting digital? With What? I like the shallow depth of field.

Film camera. Minolta Maxxum 5si. :D

I too usually prefer a shallow depth of field. :D Kind of a trademark of mine... even when it's better to have a wider depth of field. :7

I live in Minnesota (silly of me to forget mentioning that; the answer to your question...)
