Mysterious "Piano Man" a hoax, could "hardly play a note"
Today Show hosts Lauer and Currey wcouldn't believe the way this was reported this morning. Apparently the "piano man" just played the same note over and over and over and everyone there (wanting to get in the paper or just following the herd) said he was a "virtuoso". See what happens when SOME PEOPLE just say the same things over and over and over..... :eyes:

LONDON (Reuters) - A man who baffled police and care workers after being found wandering in a soaking wet suit near a southern English beach, refusing to speak, has been discharged after four months in care.

A spokesman for the West Kent NHS and Social Care Trust said on Monday the man had been released after making a "marked improvement" but would not give any further details.

A report in the Daily Mirror newspaper said the man had finally broken his silence, revealing that he was German and had been trying to commit suicide after losing his job in Paris when he was picked up by police.

The newspaper said he had previously worked with mentally ill patients and had copied some of their characteristics. He has now returned to Germany, it said.

The Mirror cast doubt on that, saying he could "hardly play a note."

5. My Mom said the same thing
I thought I did too.

I took the opportunity to illustrate what groupthink and a BIG LIE can do.

She is staying with us for a few days to help with/see the baby. She had to sit and watch the CNN special on IRaq last night too.

7. Well we didn't get to hear much of it
the baby was going off throughout it but she did catch some of it. She asked me what I thought and I said "CNN could have reported this BEFORE the war" and "None of this is really new to me (didn't make snide "those who paid attention" remark), Colin's aide's personal admittance IS new though"

8. Lauer and Curry couldn't believe how it was reported?
Weren't they some of the ones reporting on it at the time? Maybe they're mad because they were duped by "bad intel".

9. He's not a hoax. Not in this day and age.
I've heard what passes for music today. Playing one note over and over would be an improvement on most of it.
