people do rag on the early material a lot, but I've heard live stuff from that era that would make you shit ball-peen hammers, especially "Effigy." It's a weak-ish album, yes, but that's a production thing. That early band threw the fuck DOWN live. I wonder whatever happened to some of those musicians.
