Guilty pleasures: TV shows you love that you would never admit to
except here. I am truly embarrassed. I love Surreal World, Hogan Knows Best and the Celebrity Fit Club shows. I really can't figure out why, because I go right back to CSPAN after they're over. Maybe it's because I watch them with my two teenagers and we get real catty and pick apart the characters on the show.
Anyone else?

1. I like the Surreal Life & Celeb. Fit Club too.
This season's SL is something else - oh, that crazy Janice Dickinson.

4. Me TOO!
She is like watching a car accident. I know I shouldn't be looking at her, but I can't take my eyes off of her. Catty alert: Did you see her without her makeup? Are there people in the real world that are like her?

10. I missed her sans makeup, actually.
For me, she's a truly ugly person on the inside, which she demonstrated when they bowled with the mentally challenged kids and she hurled slurs at them. Nice woman. :grr:

13. And I think the "stars" have to approve the footage
before it is released. So..second time around she said it, saw it and still let it thru. Proving she didn't know it was inappropriate after two go rounds. So disgusting. I just love the motorcross guy. Conseco is also growing on me.

3. I watch Celebrity Fit Club, and I am not embarrassed to say so.

I still miss Dr. Katz, though.

edited to add: Dr. Katz from Celebrity Fit Club's first season, not Dr. Katz the cartoon.

35. I love the young black woman
She is truly stunning at the weight she is now. The others kind of meld together, but I find it so odd that Busey is on the show. I feel bad for the Snapple lady, I think she has some issues beyond weight. Who is your favorite?

And Phil. I find myself rooting for Phil a lot. Wendy - you're right. She has some emotional problems she's not letting us see.

about someone bungy jumping in their underwear and having poop and blood on their underwear. They can't tell that story without cracking up. We bought season one...also too funny.

I think I am going to go see if I can track down a copy of that movie for real cheap. It will make a great movie for when I'm hanging out with my friends and we're getting drunk.

22. They are certainly reality based!
Change of Heart took a couple that was having "trouble" (not married), and then set each partner up with someone else for a date. The couple first came on, explained what the problems were (and what problems s/he had with the other), and then the dates would come out and each of the sides would explain how the dates went. The "contestants" could then each choose whether or not they wanted to stay together anymore or pursue the other person (or sometimes neither). It was originally all on stage with a funny host. Eventually they added video from the dates, changed hosts and the show went downhill.

Blind date was basically a set these two people up on a date and send them out - pay for everything and video tons of it. In the end you got to see both people's reactions to the date. It was hilarious because the show put "pop-ups" of what the people were thinking the whole time.

Pretty sad trash TV, but DAMN I loved it.

24. I don't watch TV anymore...
But whne I was a kid, I loved the Saturday night line up of Love Boat and Fantasy Island.

In more recent years I've been into Melrose Place, Party of Five, Xena and the West Wing. All but the latter are potentially embarrassing to admit to watching.

But no more commercial TV for me, too damn annoying!

30. Three's Company
I swear I have good taste: The Twilight Zone/M*A*S*H/All in the Family/Cheers/The Simpsons/The X-Files/The Sopranos/Arrested Development...

And then there's Three Company. I can't explain it.

I am now resigned to hang my head in shame.

32. "...bad boys bad boys...whatcha gonna do?"
C.O.P.S should have a laugh track on it; These guys are so pathetic at looking relevant because they are very conscious with the camera being there.

Ever listen to Bill Hicks' Flying Saucer Tour album? He enjoyed C.O.P.S for the same reasons, remarking "I have never seen been in so many trailer parks in my life, before C.O.P.S came along."
