What's your Cholesterol level?
I had a physical last week and they gave me the results. But they did not distinguish bt. HDL and LDL which I thought was lame. Apparently insurance wouldn't cover it.

Anyway I got a total cholesterol number.

1. You need a completely separate test to get all the levels
And some insurances will not cover it until you have a high level on the gateway test.

2. Before I went veg it was 141
I have no clue what it is now, presumably much lower. Last time I found out because the blood bank was doing free screening for donors.

3. Apparently if you are under 150 you got nothing to worry about

7. After I went veg mine went slightly higher
Probably because I eat too much butter and cheese.

4. I don't know the exact number
But my doctor said it was a bit high when he tested me about a year ago, but not high enough to warrant medication. He just suggested a special cholesterol lowering diet.

5. 100, No Cholesterol Meds, Omnivore
My triglycerides aren't that great for a 'normal' person, but not bad for someone in kidney failure, which I am.
