Any recommendations for *dramatic* Anime (a la "Grave of the Fireflies")? |
|
Having just been shattered yet again by a viewing of "Grave of the Fireflies," I am interested in experiencing other dramatic productions in this particular art form.
No giant robot/alien fantasies, please...they're just not my thing.

I am not too familiar with anime & one of the kids at work recommended it to me. He was right. Inventive, beautiful & tragic.

from what I understand it is totally devestating. Cheers to your emotional bravery.

The next time our Republican and Democratic tyros decide to set a country aflame, you'll think of those two children.
I'll put this way: "Grave of the Fireflies" effectively destroyed the argument of collective guilt/collective punishment in my eyes.
