4. Oh, I certainly empathize and share her frustration...

I also think I know well why she just couldn't take it any longer. And, yes, I'm female, and yes, I do acknowledge that occasionally exceedingly dramatic acute hormonal changes do make it impossible to temper or moderate strong feelings. No, I'm not talking about routine PMS. While, Janeane is volatile on the issues by nature, I suspect that was behind the seemingly uncontrollable outrage. Unfortunately, I think this is problemmatic for her, no matter how much DUers and others may be chuckling in agreement.

Janeane, best of all wishes, dear.... I understand, but hope balance is restored soon for you.

6. Please don't misunderstand... I want her and others to call them out...

but, I think she needs to do so without getting so personally upset herself and absorbing the frustration. It isn't healthy to her. Sam occasionally gets angry, but more often deals with them as a game.. Sort of like the spider teasing the bug before devouring it. I think his approach is infinitely healthier for him.

Janeane, though, is internalizing this frustration so much that these episodes, far from being cathartic are hurting her. I'm convinced,because I share a lot of her volatile personality traits (though, unfortunately, not her wit, talent, good looks or other wonderful traits. And while we all can chuckle and root her on when they are occasional in nature, if they happened frequently, it would become impossible to listen to and even worse, detrimental to Janeane personally and physically. That's my concern.


I also have similar concerns for Mike Malloy. He also has a personality that results in his internalizing his anger/frustration a great deal. I fear it may be physically detrimental to him.

8. funny - i didn't like it - and that was the first time I had ever listened

to her show. I hope she's not normally like that. The caller was a total idiot - believing all of the usual RW lies about Saddam and 9/11 - but it would have been nicer if she had calmly explained to him that Saddam and Osama were not friends and this is why we know that, and so on. Instead she just started screeching and yelping.

I don't see how that helps.
