4. And what do YOU want from life?
An airtight alabi?
A mexican divorce?
A kama sutra gold coffee pot?
Or...a baby's arm holding an apple?

2. Neil Young or Willie Nelson
Both are still pretty cool today. So, you could be cool in the 70's and still live with yourself today.

With my hat in my hand
I'm a hungry man for you
I got stars in my beard
And I feel real weird for you

Beneath the bebop moon
I'm howling like a loon for you
Beneath the mumbo sun
I've got to be the one for you

10. See I voted Peter Frampton because...
He gets ALL the girls
He smokes ALL the good 420
He puts out "Frampton Comes Alive"
and he gets to live to tell about it

However, if I was Peter Frampton, I would have passed on that whole "Sgt Pepper" movie. I mean, Alice Cooper's "Because" rocked, but the movie SUCKED to high heaven.

15. Jimmy Page
I considered a couple of the guys from Yes, but Page had it all - he was the co-centerpiece of the biggest band of the decade, a brilliant songwriter, orchestrator, performer and producer, had strange, appropriately rock-star interests, and thought nothing of sending a private plane to bring his 14-year-old model GF to a West Coast gig. :wow:

Living (and indulging) as you damned well please, creating great music that has stood the test of time and making zillions while being worshiped. If that ain't the essence of rock stardom I don't know what is.
