Walken is in a life raft with other shipmates. He was the captain that sank the boat by going through "Iceberg Alley" as a short cut. He throws the oars at birds because they are "Flying Optical Illusions" that are attacking them. He also uses the last of the emergency flares to light his farts.
Out of those listed though, I chose the Census subject.
"How many people live in this house?"
"Oh I don’t know... 80."
