She was my Mother's Mom, and the nicest woman you could ever meet.
Then she got Alzheimers, and died in 1989.
RIP Florence Purgett, you are out of your pain.

Died last Christmas eve. A stent operation was botched and she developed a clot and her condition became exacerbated when the doctor pierced her artery, trying to clear it. She died a few days later.
Sometimes I think the purpose my family serves, in the big scheme of things, is to illustrate the cracks in the system.

she passed in June after living with me for 10yrs. Its been a terrible adjustment for me. She had a long good life, age 90. Somedays I just sit and cry still in disbelief. I was just so use to her sounds around my now very quiet house. Thank god i have good friends who are helping me through this. I understand your loss. Its hard to let go no matter what age they are. Im 48 and I dont think I will make it as long as she did.
