Be jealous. A woman in my office

brought all of her veggies that she picked from her garden and is cooking them for the office for lunch today. I smelled the greens when I came in this morning. Mmmm, field peas, turnip and mustard greens, corn, broccoli, green beans, lima beans, squash, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Even some homemade cornbread. We are also having chicken tenders, but I couldn't care less about that. Give them veggies!! Mmmmm!

has worked here forever and her cooking is YUMMY! She does this about twice every year. She brings me fig preserves every year too! Mmmm!

Did she marinate the cucumbers in vinegar?

This was dinner every day in the summer when I was growing up, because it was what was in the garden.
