when did you feel most vulnerable? |
|
scared,
no way out.
I had two guys try to stuff me in a car when I was a skinny 14 year old. I got away by a small miracle, running like my life depended on it (which it did). I found safety and lived to tell about it.

Held to my throat when I was 15. When I had a chance I took the knife away and then proceeded to break this individuals jaw (literally he had to have it wired shut)...lesson: rule #1 never pull a knife of a jackyl like myself!

3. I was chased by a pack of hungry squirrels today |
|
I flipped a french fry to a couple of pigeons and when I looked over my shoulder I saw I was being followed by two squirrels. Then two other squirrels came at me from the left, and another on my right flank. Two of them actually climbed over a wall in my courtyard and chased me all the way into my building.

Working on the Al Gore Campaign during the 2000 election. When he stated that George W. Bush was the next president I felt very afraid.. very vulnerable.. very scared.. and with no way out - honest to god it was the worst.

5. sitting in the cardiac intensive care ward |
|
with a nasty case of policarditis. I had so many tubes in me I thought I was a Borg. Eight days is a LONG time to spend in Intensive Care, especially when you are fully conscious of what's going on around you.
