listening to John Mayer and drinking

a cold one. Do you ever just want to ease into the music and sit there for awhile and forget all the crap in the world?

I don't think I do this near enough...maybe I'll change that...

Don't you just love mellowing out? Try Norah Jones too...her jazzy, bluesy music is really great to chill to.

5. I don't mellow out

near enough these days. With 2 kids, a spouse, and bush running me crazy, I just don't take the time, but I am going to start taking the time. Life seemed so much easier when I was single, listening to CDs and not the tube.

But then I didn't have 2 beautiful small faces to look at every morning either! Damn...where's the compromise?!

2. I'm listening to Leon Haywood and eating applesauce

the effect is almost as good, if not better, because applesauce is yummy and I'm not in the mood for a beer anyway :D

I think I'll queue up some John Mayer after this, now that you mention it... "Room for Squares" or "Inside Wants Out"? You pick for me cause I can't decide.
