time to go to the fair
the sky is grey...it's raining and the wind is blowing...must be time to go to the state fair in palmer alaska!

Today's Alaska State Fair schedule

BOREALIS THEATRE
7 p.m. -- Chubby Checker & The Wildcats by KOOL 97.3 FM


SLUICEBOX
1:30 p.m. -- Las Calabasitas Verdes, bluegrass 'n' salsa

3 p.m. -- Full Tilt, classic rock

4:30 p.m. -- Frank Iarossi Band, country originals

6:30 p.m. -- Carhartt Brothers Band

8:30 p.m. -- Hobo Jim, Alaska's Balladeer

No minors after 8 p.m.


COLONY STAGE
1 and 3 p.m. -- Naa Luudisk Gwaii Yatxi

1:30 and 3:30 p.m. -- Mu'azzaz, Mideastern dance

2 and 4 p.m. -- Arte y Compas Flamenco Dance by Alaska Airlines

2:30 and 5 p.m. -- Kenai Sr. Center Swinging Golden Girls

4:30 and 7 p.m. -- Arte y Compas Flamenco Dance

5:30 p.m. -- Military Bratz, dance and drill team

6 and 7:30 p.m. -- Just Playin' Jazz, youth jazz ensemble

my buddy Smokey McReefer won a few years back for his Matanusja Thunderf**k... the judges were all so blasted after sampling the contestants... well, never mind! :hippie:
