4. My mom was very OK...
a sweetheart:) And my grandfather,as a state legislator, introduced the Women's Suffrage Amendment to the Missouri Legislature for ratification..which is fairly cool, too.

3. I don't think any part of America sucks
if you like to live there. I'm a New Englander and prefer the Northeast, but every region has its good points.

23. I once drove the freeway from St. Louis to Joplin

From what I saw, central Missouri at least is very pretty! Lots of what appeared to be vineyards, too, which surprised me. I mean, who's ever heard of Missouri wine???

Besides, Missouri also gave us Chuck Berry. That's reason enough to love the Show Me State.

26. You wouldn't think it, but Missouri wines are very famous.
I know that it doesn't seem likely, but I think (not sure) that Missouri has the most vinyards and wineries in the midwest.

10. No
I'm just saying I've been there, and know what you're going through. If I was you, I would transfer to Springfield as soon as you can. In a minute. Don't stay in Joplin.
