2. Yes, I love oatmeal.
I like mine with a little cinnamon and a teaspoon or so of maple syrup. Maybe some raisins.

My husband likes his oatmeal with milk, fresh fruit, and honey.

My middle daughter likes her oatmeal plain or with cinnamon.

My older daughter likes her oatmeal with brown sugar.

My son...well, he still won't eat his oatmeal. :)

4. I like to bake my oatmeal w/ raisins, cinnamon, etc.
I bake more than we will eat, then put the leftovers in the fridge.

Leftover baked oatmeal makes a great midnight snack when warmed and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

6. How do you bake it?
Do you put more milk in it? How long do you bake it for?

13. I think it's like this:
Mix together 1 cup oatmeal, 2 cups milk, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoonish of baking powder. Toss in some raisins and other add-ins. Bake it at 350 degrees for an hour or so, maybe more maybe less. It won't be jiggly in the middle when it's done.

I've baked this in a shallow pan and a deep pan, and it always comes out fine. Make sure your pan is greased, or cleanup might be difficult.

I sometimes mix it up the night before, then put it in the oven when I get out of bed in the morning (make sure your oven hasn't preheated already, it should be cold if you're putting a cold dish in there). By the time I'm ready to eat something, the oatmeal is ready too.

but it's 1:30 pm here, I just finished a salad for lunch.

My 84 year old mother swears by oatmeal! She must eat it every day.

10. Oh me me me!
It must be the Old Fashioned Oats or steel cut. No instant or "quick" oats. A little brown sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon...mmmmmmmm.

16. Steel cut oats are the way to go
I usually chop up apples to cook, as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ground pecans or walnuts.
