1. Not me!
That was the most boring part of Mass for me. I chose that time to doze off. At least you didn't have to stand up, sit down, stand up for that part. :hi:

4. Generally better than sermon
In my experience sermons tend to be longer than homilies.

I love it when services take ages because they're full of gorgeous music, but I've found very few Priests/Ministers who can keep my attention for longer than a few short minutes.

8. I hated the homily
With all the other parts of mass you knew exactly how long they would take, but the homily was a complete crap shoot. Sometimes we went to the Saturday evening mass, and there was no homily - it was fantastic. The whole thing was over in, like, a half hour.
