Has anyone had Goldschlager before?

My mom got a couple sample bottles from the liquor store. It's so pretty with all the little gold flakes floating around it. :D



It packs a pretty good punch too. ;)

6. Many years ago

We got a bottle for New Year's Eve. Neither one of drink often, and I knew that I'd had enough. My husband kept going back for more, telling me that I wasn't keeping up with him. OK, fine. He ended up praying to the porcelain god, I slept well.

10. I'm not a fan of Cinnamon

but I've done a few shots of it just for the sheer novelty of the gold. However I think they made it less potent. I don't remember the exact proof off the top of my head but I thought I heard somewhere that they made it weaker or something like that.

A Kamasucki rider of my acquaintance came into our bar. He slapped two quarts of that Goldschlager on my table. He told me "That bottle is yours." I picked up the bottle, twisted the top off, and threw it away. I turned the bottle up and took a couple of swallows and slid the bottle in his direction.
Mitch opened the other bottle, tossed the cap away and chugged a generous portion of the booze. He, in turn, shoved his bottle to me. I heard the next day I had drunk the last chugs from each bottle before passing out.
