Last night, I did something I've never done before. |
|
I made Southern Fried Chicken from scratch.
And it was hot.

2. Hot as in Paris Hilton? |
|
That scarecrow could use a few extra meals of fried chicken to get her into hot status.

11. I'm not saying that Paris Hilton is hot, believe me. |
|
This was in reference to Paris lingo: "That's Hot!!" as in "That's really neat"
Actually Paris Hilton needs more than weight on her bones for her to escape her whorish nature.

"Gee, it sure looks good, but having a hot skillet filled with 350 degree Crisco on the stove for an hour on an August evening sure is making me sweat."

7. First I soaked it in buttermilk for an hour. |
|
Then I seasoned it. Then I dredged it in GP flour. And then I let that sit for about 10 minutes. Then into the skillet, 12 minutes a side.
And, it turned out just right.

6. So did you grow the chicken from an egg or create the chicken first? |
|
I've always wondered which came first.
