A dear old friend is moving back to Michigan from Oregon. She spent the week driving a U-Haul across the coutnry and she will arrive at my house tonite. I promised to have her old favorite beer on hand :)

14. Ummm - Vodka

My stepdaughter made the best drink the other night with vodka. It's her version of limeade. Take a good drinking vodka (we had Grey Goose in the house)and pour 6 or so ounces in a glass with ice. Add the juice of at least one whole lime. Sweeten to taste. She used a heaping teaspoon of sugar but this may be adjusted. Sit down and drink. You had better sit down to drink, because if you don't you'll be on your ass after the 2nd one. :spray:

2 parts each half-and-half and Kahlua or equivalent

Goes down like a mocha milkshake and has a nice kick.

Tanquary gin (of course), and Schweppes tonic (of course) - both highly chilled beforehand to eliminate the need for ice (which just dilutes the drink), and obviously no lime given the brand of gin. :9
