6. They're building a Best Buy within walking distance of our house.

We have Cold Stone. We have Starbucks. We have Barnes and Noble and Borders. There's shopping out the wazoo. There are terrific restaurants everywhere. I work out at a nice little rec center. The weather is only really, really hot for a few months; the rest of the year it's wonderful. It looks like Kansas here. Most importantly, WE ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really have to do it though.... I suggest New Orleans. It's civilized and sexy and wonderful. And you'll be close enough to visit your family in Texas or have them visit you whenever you want.
