He was in dog heaven then .. he is in dog heaven now! To be so lucky. Like Michelle (the oncologist) said, the big difference between veterinary medicine and human medicine is that vets can end their patients suffering. In my opinion, that is a cruel side of human medicine. I realize the medical ethics involved and the unfolding political war on "life" (OK to take in war, but no fetuses and/or the terminal).
Dr. D and I are hording what we call "bitter pills" (a term from the play "Greater Tuna"). Guess what that's for.
