I'm moving into a new apartment tomorrow |
|
More space, 2 bedrooms, all by myself, so I can use one as an office.
But ugh! is this a pain in the ass!!!! I've been in the same apartment complex for 7 years, and haven't moved since college, and that was just dorm room to dorm room. I've accumulated a lot more stuff since then. I just ran out of boxes and I have to start moving in about 6 hours, and I'm starting to get tired.

I'm going from a huge 1 bedroom with a huge bedroom and living room to a huge 1 bedroom with a huge living room, a mid-size bedroom and a mid-size den :).
I'm moving the boxes today and all the really heavy stuff tomorrow.
Good luck to both of us :)

I recently moved and it was like my stuff kept multiplying.
In my area, there is a group called ARC that will pick up donations, so I called them up and they hauled about a roomful of stuff away.
Also, never underestimate the power of garbage bags. Tacky as hell, but you can stuff more in a car trunk. :)
