Am I the only person that thinks the band Coldplay........

Sucks a big fat one? This band is huge, don't get me wrong, they are talented, but good God their music is boring to me. Now, let me go listen to some real music, The Bay City Rollers for a "Saturday Night."

When I first heard "Yellow" or whatever it was, I thought "that vocalist is breaking his larynx trying to ape Colin Blunstone." :shrug:

They're pretty pleasant and have a few nice hooks, though.

I think they're kind of overhyped. Chris Martin's voice grates me, it just seems kind of whiny, IMO. The only song I can remotely sit through of theirs is "The Scientist." My apologies to any Coldplay fans, they're just NMS.

I'm more of a classic rock & blues girl, myself, along with some 90's rock (STP, Pearl Jam, etc).

10. I like their music

I don't enjoy their most recent stuff as much as their previous CD (the one with The Scientist and Clocks) but they are still on my list of bands I like.
