While you're following Katrina...
May as well check out my pics from my trip to NOLA this summer.

It's a beautiful city and my thoughts are with everyone along the coast and in the path of this terrible storm.

The French Quarter and Around NOLA

Oak Alley Plantation, St. Louis Cathedral, and Steamboat Natchez

St. Louis Cemetery #1

The site is not commercial and there are no ads. I'm not plugging anything but my ego. :hi:

1. I can't look. I just can't.
To know that my favorite city on the planet will be no more...well, I just can't look.

4. I'm sorry Maddy McCall

Maybe it'll push to the east and spare NOLA.

I feel for anyone on the gulf coast right now.

6. I feel the same way.
I hate to be so selfish...but thinking about the wonderful times I have had in that city, and that I very possibly will never be able to experience that again.

7. Same here
I've visited NO twice, and I'm literally sickened thinking about what's going to happen to the people and the city itself.

5. Wonderful photos
I never had the chance to visit myself. I'm still praying that Katrina veers off course, as any city would fair better than NO.

8. Finally got the time to look at them. They're beautiful. Thank you.
I've never been there but have wanted to see it. Really beautiful city.
