Quick question for lawyers
I recently bought a used laptop. I was told that there was a year remaining on the warranty, but I later found out that this was a lie. Now the laptop's motherboard has crashed. Is there anything I can do? Thanks to anyone who can help... I'm very frustrated about this.

1. Did you get that in writing?
If so you can take the person to small claims court in most jurisdictions.

2. Kind of
I have it electronically; it was posted on a forum. If I do have a case, which juristiction would it be in - mine or his? I don't think it would be worth traveling from Oregon to Ohio to recover $650.
