A friend in the news business emailed me today sent me some advisories about the Hurricane; it's unbelieveable the damage they are expecting.

I'm sending all the good vibes I can their way and donating money for the aftermath.

7. All I can think of is all those people in the Superdome who had
no other recourse. I just cannot see that roof holding through this. :(

8. I think the superdome's roof is a fairly solid one
unlike the Metrodome - a bad snowstorm can take our teflon fabric roof down.

I do hope those people will be alright...I would imagine that building codes must account for hurricanes there...
