5. There's no frivolity in there - all deadly serious issues.
1. Black, and as strong as possible. As in I actually drink coffee, most folk seem to drink milk with a small dash of coffee flavour added.

2. Ties - I love them.

3. Specifically exercise - never, but I walk to work which is half an hour each way. Except when I'm off work like today :bounce:

4. By new music do you mean newly written or new to me? New to me "Tu es Petrus" by Widor - newly composed there was a premier at one of the Proms last week - I'm afraid that I can't remember anything else about it.

5. Bloody awful. No work = no shower (yet).

6. A close run thing between books, with C.D.s in a respectable second place.

7. Throw them away - they irritate me.

8. I'm an odd combination of cynic and idealist - over all moderately optimistic.

:hi:

1. How do you take your coffee?
I don'tdrink coffee. I love the smell, but have never developed a taste for it.

3. How often to you exercise?
Generally 3-5 times a week.

I honestly can't think of anything now. I think I'm a bit of a fuddy-duddy when it comes to music.

7. Where do you save the rubber bands that come into your house with produce and take-out?
In a little brass bowl my husband brought me from India.

8. Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Very much an optimist. It tends to annoy people, I'm afraid!

21. Yeah!
The last time I went into one of their stores, the jazz and classical music was always in a separate room at the back. This was why I liked their stores. But this time the jazz and classical just had a few racks in amongst all the other crapmusic.

But I will find a copy. Ta for the album cover!

31. I hate it when they do that
I find it impossible to think about real music in the environment of 50 school children wailing about the latest corporate crap, particularly as they tend to play it over the pa system - and far too loud.

But when classical and jazz are off together - there's such a haven of peace and wonderfulness.

1. How do you take your coffee?

2. What's your favorite article of clothing?
Any old comfy thing. Probably mt 'KCMU 90.3' and 'Whitey will pay' Ts. I like the KCMU T because the call letters were changed to KEXP when Paul Allen 'donated' an assload of money and built the listener-supported station a new studio. 'Whitey will pay' is a fave because a Native American friend gave it to a black friend who gave it to me. It's quite shocking when I wear it. :P

I walk2-4 miles each day. I have the terrierist.

4. What was the last new music that you heard that made you sit up and take notice?

8. Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
